President (Maria):  Welcome everyone to the February 1st, 2016 meeting of the Thomas Nelson High School Student Organization Council. I call this meeting to order. 

Vice President (Tristan):  SOC Seats please announce yourselves, update your attendance on the log and update the SO Matrix at this time:

Agenda Item #1: Review of Service Opportunities/Celebrations

There is now a Community Calendar available for all of your community service wants and needs! Keep track of upcoming service opportunities through this calendar.

Speaking of community service, it is now time to celebrate your recent involvement within community service. We will take 2 minutes to share our experiences.

Agenda Item #2: Revision of Winter Formal 2016

Discuss how we thought Winter Formal went. 

Treasurer's Report.

Agenda Item #3: Revision of Spirit Days

There have been some revisions made to some spirit days due to some technicalities. 

Monday: Movie Monday (Dress like a movie character or a movie t-shirt)

Tuesday: Timehop Tuesday (Dress from any decade)

Wednesday: Wear Red for Heart Disease Awareness Day (Pretty self explanatory)

Thursday: Thomas Nelson Thursday (Any Thomas Nelson Spirit Gear)

We need to be constructing and designing posters for the Spirit Days this week.

Recruit Mr. Hoye's art classes!! :) 

Agenda Item #4: Thank You Cards

We will be writing thank you cards to everyone who helped out with Winter Formal. If you are not given a card to fill out, work with someone nearby to create one! 

Agenda Item #5: T-Shirt Sizes

We are in the process of designing a t-shirt for RUSH Week. All representatives and Student Organization Sponsors will receive a shirt!

Agenda Item #6: Reminder

Homecoming Nominations are due by tomorrow. If your Student Organization has not yet nominated one senior girl and one senior boy for Basketball Homecoming (February 13th), they will need to do so by tomorrow. All nominations need to be sent to Ms. Warrell!
