Halloween Dance Planning

Dances this year Halloween October 25th, Winter Formal - January 28th, April 19th. Date Nov. 1st - Trick or Treat night?  FFA has a huge number of people coming to the corn maze. Oct 18th is out because of decorations? Vote:  Oct. 25th:  Yay-1 Nay-10 Vote:  Oct. 26th:  Yay- 10 Nay 1-Ms. Warrell Time:  8:00-11:00 followed by Trail of Terror? Sell advanced tickets for the Trail of Terror? Cost:  $5.00 for TNHS students, $7.00 for non-TNHS students 20 and under and must present ID, Start selling Tickets Tuesday, October 1st before school in the Commons.  The last week before the dance, we will sell during lunch. Tickets - Joe and Sydney (Mr. Hoye's Class) Must pick up a dance contract and turn it in when they buy their ticket - Copies of Dance contracts and guest contracts.   DJ?  Twilight Tunes? Welcome and Attendance Each SOC member goes around the table and states name and SO they represent take attendance below and as a SOC decide who is missing. Example: " Morgan Ford representing Ultimate Frisbee" SO Updates (Members go around the table and answer the following) When is your first meeting?  Have you already had one?  How did it go? Have you turned in your mission statement with meeting day and times yet?  See Generals Go Green For Example? What will be the first order of business your student organization will tackle this year? SOC It To TNHS What school-wide initiatives can the SOC lead this year to increase student excitement?  Be creative!!!!  Brainstorm below. How can the SOC get the Sophomores and their teachers pumped up for the PLAN Test? Next meeting will be with Ms. Warrell on Monday 9/16 and then bi-weekly thereafter.  You must have your mission statement and meeting times ready for print on this day:)
