President (Maria):  Welcome everyone to the December 7th meeting of the Thomas Nelson High School Student Organization Council. I call this meeting to order.

Agenda Item #1: Review of Service Opportunities/Celebrations

We appreciate all of the Generals who came out to walk with us Last Thursday night. Way to represent our school within our community.

Speaking of community service, it is now time to celebrate your recent involvement within community service. We will take 2 minutes to share our experiences.

There is now a Community Calendar available for all of your community service wants and needs! Keep track of upcoming service opportunities through this calendar.

Agenda Item #2: Winter Formal Planning

Theme: Hollywood Glam

Date: January 23rd, 2016

Time: 8-12 pm

Cost of Ticket: $8/$10

For today:

Logo/Ticket Ideas, Slogan, and Decoration Ideas: Winter Formal Brainstorming Document

We need to determine a logo for Winter Formal that we can use for advertising purposes. This will include our dance ticket.

We need to determine a slogan that we can use for advertising and the ticket. 

We will also begin brainstorming ideas for decorations. We will vote on decorations at our next meeting. 

What we need to determine for Winter Formal:

Theme, Date/Time, DJ, Decorations, Cost of Ticket, Ticket Selling Sign-Ups, Creating the Ticket, Tuesday Newsday Advertising, Concessions, Coat Check, Sign-Ups for Decorations and Cleaning up Afterwards, CONTRACTS (You must update every year-even if you have had one in the past)
