President (Maria): Welcome everyone to the September 21st meeting of the Thomas Nelson High School Student Organization Council. I call this meeting to order.
Vice President (Tristan): SOC Seats please announce yourselves, update your attendance on the log and update the SO Matrix at this time:

Vice President (Tristan): Treasurer will you please share the balance report.
Treasurer (Nada): Reviews SOC activity balance Google.
President (Maria): It is now time for New Business.
Agenda Item #1: Proposal by the Science and Engineering Club.
We have a group of representatives here to make a proposal in favor of adding the Science and Engineering Club to the SOC.

Director of Alumni Affairs (Erika): Agenda Item #2: Pumpkin Decorating Competition
We will be starting a new tradition this year to compete for what will be known as the "Golden Pumpkin" award.
Each Student Organization and Club will submit a decorated pumpkin into the contest in the hopes of winning the GOLDEN PUMPKIN AWARD!
You will be responsible for working with your respective S.O. to complete the decoration of your pumpkin. Pumpkins will need to be completed and ready to display on October 26th's SOC Meeting.
Monday, October 26th will be The Great General Pumpkin Party. The party will begin at 3:15 and will continue until 5 pm.
Bring your completed pumpkins to display on tables in the Commons.
The pumpkins will be judged and the winner will be determined by members of the Nelson County Board of Education on Thursday October 29th. The winners will be announced on Friday October 30th.

For this meeting bring FOOD! This is a celebratory event to celebrate our Student Organizations and to show off our pumpkin decorating skills! Bring your G-Spirit and enthusiasm to The Great General Pumpkin Party!
