President (Payton): Welcome everyone to the March 16th meeting of the Thomas Nelson High School Student Organization Council. I call this meeting to order.
President (Payton): Now it is time for celebrations - what's going on in your SO and SOC Shouts updates? I will set the timer for 2 minutes - you may begin.
Vice President (Maria) SOC Seats please announce yourselves, update your attendance on the log and update the SO Matrix at this time:
2. Please UPDATE NOW - Student Organization Meeting Master Schedule
Vice President (Maria): Treasurer will you please share the balance report.
Treasurer (Justin): Reviews SOC activity balance Google
President (Payton): It is now time for New Business
-We will vote on the Bylaws on May 11th.
Justin: It is now time for Agenda Item #2: Allocation of funds
Item #1-SOC to transfer funds from our account to a Student Organization that will use the money to get a start. The SO can petition the SOC for up to $200 to start an organization.
Item #2 - Student Organization Center in the College and Career Cafe. $2,500 is needed to purchase technology for this initiative.

Erika: It is now time for Agenda Item #3: S.O. Picture Day (Dress to Impress)
-On May 7th, 2015 from 9-12 we will be taking S.O. Photos.
-Each General is expected to dress their best. That may mean ties for gentlemen and dresses for ladies.
Mrs. Warrell: It is now time for Agenda Item #4: Teacher Appreciation Week
-We need SOC members to man a table on Tuesday-Friday in the Commons in order to give Generals the opportunity to write thank you notes to the LEADERS. You can sign up to man the table here.
-After this meeting we will be decorating the doors of each LEADER after this meeting.
-On May 7th, 2015 from 9-12 we will be taking S.O. Photos.
-Each General is expected to dress their best. That may mean ties for gentlemen and dresses for ladies.

-On May 18th we will be listening to potential candidates give their speeches. If you plan to run, you should notify Mrs. Warrell via email by May 13th, 2015.
-Voting will take place on May 19th in the Office. NOTE: S.O.s members who have not attended 75% of meetings will not be permitted to vote.
**Note: you can run as President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, PR Squad, or DIrector of Alumni Affairs. Mrs. Warrell will talk about more about the DoAA now.
